This animated film illustrates my research on the Photographic Iconography of the Salpêtrière, a series of 19th-century medical volumes containing photographs of female patients suffering from hysterical epilepsy and epilepsy, providing insight into the female stereotypes and sexual connotations of the time.

Objective: To illustrate and inform about the realities of the Salpêtrière in order to redefine the concept of hysteria.
Conceptualization: Animation aimed at reconstructing the narrative of life at the Salpêtrière and integrating a creative interpretation of history.
